Full-Length Play Festivals

KDA has for many years run an adjudicated full-length play festival each Spring. 

The Festival's professional adjudicator attends a performance of each society's production at its own venue, and gives a full public adjudication to the audience followed by an opportunity for private discussion with the cast and production team.
The Festival ends with an awards ceremony evening - twenty two Awards, for all aspects of a production ranging from Best Overall Production to Best Actor in a Cameo Role.

2012 Full-Length Play Festival

The 2012 Festival is taking take place until 19th May 2012, and is being adjudicated by Paul Mills, GODA.

Medway Festival of Music, Speech & Drama

Chatham - 31st March 2012.
This is open to any amateur performer from Kent or elsewhere who likes to sing, play music, recite or act. If you are one of those people, and fancy performing in front of a warm and receptive audience, why not enter now?

2011 Full-Length Play Festival

There were 16 entries in the 2011 Full-Length Play Festival, which culminated in an Awards Ceremony in The Playhouse, Whitstable on June 18th.

The overall winner was The Lindley Players for their performance of 'Female Transport'.

One Act Play Festival

Medway Little Theatre runs the Duncan Rand Festival each July - a one act festival with separate competitions for Youth and Adult entries.

The 2012 Festival runs from 9-13 July (Youth Section) and 16-21 July (Adult Section), at Medway Little Theatre, Rochester.
