Acting Opportunities

From time to time, we receive requests for amateur actors and actresses to participate in film recordings or other events in Kent. Brief details will be placed here.

Groups known to need actors and actresses for amateur filming are:

Medway Film Makers

Available

The following items are available for hire / loan / purchase by member societies.

Rainham Theatrical Society has a set of uniforms for 'Allo 'Allo available for hire, as well as other costumes and accessories from the Victorian period up to the 1970s.
Visit the Oasthouse Theatre on Tuesdays between 8pm and 9:30pm, or telephone at this time on 01634 372121 to arrange an appointment.

Hayes Players has a library of single play scripts, for those researching plays for production.

Training Courses

The 2010 Full-Length Play Festival Adjudicator - Arthur Rochester - conducts practical workshops on many aspects of theatrical performance, tailored to suit societies' needs.  Details are available from arthur.rochester@sky.com.

Andy Reiss (beyondthebarricade.com - professional one-day (or longer) Masterclasses, in London or at your location, which have proved especially valuable in giving confidence to inexperienced actors and actresses in straight drama and musicals.)
